Bald HIlls Central Otago Single Vineyard Pinot Noir 2011 – Commended
The International Wine Challenge is conducted annually in London and attracts thousands of entries from around the globe. IWC is regarded as ‘the world’s biggest and most influential wine competition.’
Bald Hills entered their 2011 Single Vineyard Pinot Noir, made as is always the case for their Single Vineyard wines, from fruit harvested from their site at Bannockburn, Central Otago.
The result – “Commended”, while not quite up to the standard of the Bald Hills 2005 Pinot Noir, which was awarded the International Pinot Noir Trophy as well as the Champion Red Wine of the Show in 2007, confirmed the consistently high quality of wines derived from this vineyard.
