Food & Wine Pairing Recipe of the Week – Parmesan Chips

With the arrival of spring, our minds start to think about outdoor entertaining. As the days draw longer and it starts to warm up, it is the perfect chance to get a few friends around and enjoy some wonderful wine and fresh local produce. We just love creating an antipasto platter filled with local goodie, but often struggle to find crackers or chips that are to everyones liking. So this weeks recipe is one to solve that problem. A simple one ingredient dish that is sure to please everyone next time your entertain.


  • Grated Parmesan Cheese


Switch on the oven at grill mode and let it heat up. In the meantime grate the parmesan cheese.

Lay some parchment paper on a baking tray and spoon the Grated Parmesan onto the paper. Keep in mind that 1 crisp is about 1 full tbsp of cheese. Bake the cheese until it melts. An idea: you can add little wooden sticks and make Parmesan lollipops!

Let the cheese cool until it becomes crispy. idea: you can cut the parchment paper around the melted cheese and place it in a bowl or any other container. If you do so you can give your crisps the shape you want! Let your imagination fly.
