Our 'Last Light' Central Otago Riesling 2020 is a stunning, off-dry Riesling with vibrant aromas of honeysuckle, freesia, apple blossom, lemon, tangelo and a hint of vanilla brulee.
The palate has a lush entry of nectarine, peach, apricot, passionfruit and grapefruit. Complex and balanced with a honeyed mid palate, a nice mineral vein and a long finish of pink grapefruit, lemon and lime.
Try matching this wine with Thai style dishes, seafood, salmon and cheeses. Or as Candice Chow recommends with Tom Yum Soup or spicy tomato risotto.

The fruit selected for this Riesling was hand harvested on 24 April 2020 at 22.4 brix from one hectare of vines that are ideally situated to soak up the ‘last light’ from the days sun.
The fruit was whole bunch pressed to tank and the juice was inoculated with selected wine yeast to undergo fermentation. The fermentation was stopped retaining around 23.2 grams/litre of residual sugar.
