We are thrilled to announce that our Bald Hills ‘Yasuhiro’ Single Vineyard Central Otago Pinot Noir 2018 has been awarded a Gold Medal at the Hong Kong International Wine & Spirits Fair 2020. As this wine is produced sustainably, it also received a Green Award along with a Silver Medal in the Asian Food Pairing category, when matched with Wok-fried Beef Fillets with Leeks.
Our Bald Hills ‘Yasuhiro’ is a limited release Pinot Noir crafted from hand-picked premium fruit parcels from our boutique Bannockburn vineyard. This wine was aged in French Oak barriques for 12 months with 33% new oak. Three barrels were then hand selected to make this special ‘Yasuhiro’ blend which is only produced on selected vintages and is yet to be released for sale in New Zealand.
