Here’s what Cameron had to say about our wines:

Bald Hills Single Vineyard Central Otago Pinot Noir 2016 - 94 POINTS

Vibrant, fresh, youthful, varietal, fruity and very engaging bouquet. Aromas and flavours on the palate showcase raspberry and plum,  a savoury dried herb and wild thyme layer, clove, vanilla and five spice-ish taste, complex and tasty. Tannins are fine and chalky in texture, acidity fresh showing off the youthful impact this wine retains. Well made, lengthy and delicious. Best drinking from today and through 2024+. Bald Hills Single Vineyard Central Otago Pinot Noir 2014 - 94 POINTS

A striking and seductive bouquet with aromas of ripe, dark red berry fruits, savoury undertones with bracken and dried thyme, toasty wood and clove baking spices. On the palate - equally palate engaging with flavours that reflect the nose - raspberry and dark berries, dried herbs and French barrel. Tannins are firm, acidity - medium+, a youthful, tense and well made wine with a lengthy finish and medium+ complexity. Still coming together so no rush to drink. Decant for service if opening before 2021. Best drinking from 2021 through 2027. See review here

Bald Hills 3 Acres Central Otago Pinot Noir 2017 - 93 POINTS

Great colour and bright appearance leading to aromas and flavours of ripe dark red berry fruits, roses and a core of minerality with crushed stones. There’s a compelling core of dark cherry and raspberry, smoky oak and ripe velvet tannins. A lovely wine with pinosity, complexity, medium+ acidity, perfect measure of oak and a lengthy flavoursome finish. Balanced and well made and ready. Best drinking from mid 2021 through 2025. Bald Hills Friends and Lovers Central Otago Rose 2019 - 93 POINTS

Youthful, ripe and very alluring scents of light red cherry and strawberry, roses and red apple, peach tea and a touch of red quince. On the palate - delicious! Everything a Rosé wine should be with a juicy fleshy texture, ripe light red fruit flavours plus something that makes it special - such as the peach tea and quince mentioned above, a great acid=line and finish that demands you take another sip. Best drinking is upon purchase and through 2021.  See review here

Bald Hills Last Light Central Otago Riesling 2017 - 93 POINTS

Very attractive sweet scented bouquet with aromas of white flowers and green apple, crisp brown pear and some white orchard fruits then citrus. On the palate - off dry with lower alcohol and refreshing acid-line. Flavours reflect the nose with a plush fleshy texture accentuated with the gentle sweetness and crisp finish. A lovely example not to be missed. Best Drinking from today and through 2025. See review here

Bald Hills Kirameki Central Otago Pinot Gris 2017 - 89 POINTS

Plush, fleshy, fruity and varietal bouquet with aromas of white nectarine and peach blossom, sweet lemon and  apple then a light but easily spotted wet stone mineral-like layer. On the palate - fruity with a whisper of white spice, apple and pears, white fleshed stone fruits and a floral stony soil note. Integrated and ready to enjoy upon purchase and through 2021.
