This delightful Pinot Noir has fragrant aromas of cherry, red fruits, violets and a touch of cinnamon. With sweet juicy red fruit and tones of coffee, chocolate and spice, the palate is well rounded with fine tannins and a lovely long flinty finish of smokey plums.
This elegant wine compliments a range of darker meat dishes including lamb, beef, game dishes, salmon, tuna and peking duck.
Enjoy now or cellar for up to 10 years.
"Vibrant, fresh, youthful, varietal, fruity and very engaging bouquet. Aromas and flavours on the palate showcase raspberry and plum, a savoury dried herb and wild thyme layer, clove, vanilla and five spice-ish taste, complex and tasty. Tannins are fine and chalky in texture, acidity fresh showing off the youthful impact this wine retains. Well made, lengthy and delicious."Cameron Douglas MS (94 Points)

Pair this wine with roast lamb or lamb rack for a classic match that never fails to impress. The delicacy of this pinot noir results in an excellent match with stronger fish such as salmon and tuna. The bright powerful berry fruit nature also pairs well with game dishes including duck, rabbit and quail.

Hand harvesting grapes is no mean feat in the world’s southernmost wine region where harvest often happens icy autumn mornings and requires significant labour.
